We have a commitment to making the roads safer one driver at a time, offering an educational experience designed to instill defensive driving habits. We welcome all prospective students to call or visit anytime.

T&D Driving Academy has helped students become safer, more confident drivers for over 30 years. Based in Greenville (Hunt County), we’re the only school in the county with Third Party Texas DPS–certified driving examiners, and our team brings more than 60 years of combined instruction experience.

Visit our Registration Page to sign up for teen or adult driver education and to schedule a Texas road test with us during the week. If you live too far to attend in person, you can complete classroom hours online through our distance-learning affiliate and transfer your program to T&D for behind-the-wheel lessons—spaced out as needed—so you can finish the required 14 hours well within the six-month window.

T&D Driving Academy is entrusted by Texas DPS to administer the 3rd Party Road Test. We'll help you navigate the proper documentation to get permitted and eligible to take the road test. Give us a call and you'll be one step closer to having what you need to obtain a Class C license from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Driver Education Services
Teen Driver Education Course: 24 hour classroom, 14 hr in-car. $450
Teen transfer drive only 14hr in-car: $350
Road Tests: $100 (Upload service separate)

T&D Driving Academy offers top brick-and-mortar and online driver education in Texas, guiding students and parents from Driver’s Ed through road testing. Prefer online? You can complete the Parent Taught program through our TDLR-approved partner, then transfer the driving portion to T&D and schedule lessons at times that work for your family. One lesson per week—or even every other week—is typically enough to finish the required driving hours within six months.
